| RX is a quality 'soft-roader' estate that compromises slightly on-road. There's no skimping on equipment or fit and finish, and in its class luxury lifestyle 4x4 it's one of the best. |

| Buyers who want a a sensibly priced 'high rise' luxury estate should look no further than the RX. The Lexus badge guarantees of the highest possible quality. Externally, the paintwork is superb and the panel gaps are perfect. Inside there's leather, wood and high grade plastics. It's all very civilised; and it's also practical. There's plenty of room for five adults and their luggage. Highly comfortable, multi-adjustable seats and a clear dashboard make it a pleasure to drive or be driven. The rear seats slide and recline, in addition to folding almost flat for maximum load space. RX behaves like a luxury car, too, with superb levels of refinement. You can barely hear the engine, and harsh road noises are kept to a minimum, with the suspension soaking up lumps and bumps. Performance is effortless and smooth. Overall a luxury saloon or estate might handle better, but this one does mud, too. |
